Medication Refills & Bridge Prescriptions

If you are running out of your prescription medications and cannot get in to see your primary care provider or specialist, our urgent care may be able to provide short-term refill services to ensure continuity of care and prevent treatment lapses.

No appointment needed — walk in anytime for evaluation.

Primary Care Medication Refills

If you are temporarily unable to see your primary doctor, we can help refill common primary care medications such as:

  • Blood pressure medication

  • Diabetes medication

  • Cholesterol medication (select medications)

  • Thyroid medication (select medications)

Keeping chronic conditions controlled can prevent serious complications such as stroke, heart attack, uncontrolled blood sugar, or hypertensive crisis.

Asthma Medication Refills

We provide refills for commonly used asthma rescue medications including:

  • Albuterol Inhalers

  • Albuterol Nebulizer Solution

These may be provided for patients who have run out of medication or are waiting for follow-up with their provider.

Short-Term Pain Medication (Opioid) Refills

If you are unable to reach your pain management doctor, we may provide a short-term 3-day bridge prescription for opioid pain medications when medically appropriate.
Evaluation is required, and prescriptions are provided at the discretion of the medical provider or may require supporting documentation.

This service is intended to help minimize withdrawal and maintain stability until follow-up care is available.

Short-Term Psychiatric Medication Refills

If you are waiting for a psychiatrist appointment or recently ran out of medication, we may provide short-term bridge refills for:

  • Anxiety (Benzodiazepines — evaluation required)

  • Depression (SSRIs / SNRIs)

  • Bipolar Disorders

  • ADHD

  • Seizure Disorders

Medication refills are provided when clinically appropriate and may require documentation of prior prescriptions or medication history.

When to Seek Urgent Care for Medication Refills

Urgent care may be appropriate if:

  • Your doctor is unavailable or out of town

  • You recently moved or switched providers

  • Your pharmacy denied a refill due to timing

  • Appointments are delayed or months away

  • Your specialist is booked or insurance changed

  • You ran out unexpectedly and need continuity of care

Our goal is to keep patients safe and stable.

Controlled Substance & Safety Policy

Controlled medications (opioids, benzodiazepines, stimulants, and certain mood or seizure medications) are prescribed only after medical evaluation and at provider discretion for short-term bridging.

Our providers prioritize patient safety, appropriate prescribing, and compliance with state and federal guidelines.

We treat both adults and adolescents and provide same-day evaluation with no appointment required.
